Day 312

I am grateful to wake up this morning and talk to James on the phone. I've been able to talk to him every day via Facebook, emails, texts and Instagram - but nothing beats hearing his voice down the telephone line.
Edit: (late tonight) I am also very grateful for the epic "To Kill a Warty-turd" novel sent to me from James. It made me laugh so much I had tears streaming down my face. I love this boy so much!

Day 311

I am grateful for all the fun and glamour of Melbourne Cup. For dressing up and wearing your best dress and hat. For the fun of a Melbourne Cup party, fashion parade and high tea.

Day 310

I am grateful for my hubby. To spend the day with him for his birthday. For the fun with family and friends today and yesterday, celebrating! To get the night off work so we could go Gold Class to the movies and out to dinner together.

Day 309

I am grateful for family and friends!
We've had the loveliest day spent with our friends Cam, Sandy, Craig & Lauree for lunch. Lots of laughter, great food and friendship.
After that we spent a wonderful evening with my husbands family. What a fun night. So many laughs with Grandma dancing Gangnam style, the little kids playing, Jack & Bec making the trip out too and wonderful, delicious food!!! Then a message from James and chats back and forth. I can never get enough family (& friends).

I am grateful that where I live, at any given time, all you can hear are birds! And the occasional rooster and horse. It's so peaceful here.

I am grateful for the wonderful variety of fresh fruit available to us. I love that something that tastes so good is actually good for you too (for a change!)

I am grateful James is keeping in contact every day. I'm grateful for all the emails and texts and messages. I am also grateful for all the wonderful photos. I hope he's having an amazing time and staying safe.
